We love Michael Singer’s work. As long as he and YouTube allow us to post these videos, we will.
We do not receive ad revenue from these videos, but YouTube may.

If you would like to learn more about Michael Singer’s work, here are a few suggestions:
- Every Sunday, Monday & Thursday night, he gives a live talk at his Temple of the Universe in Alachua, Florida. Anyone can attend for free.

He’s written several books. They are phenomenal, even the ones written in the seventies. (We will receive a commission if you purchase books through these links.)

If you’re wondering what Mickey’s saying at the beginning and end of each talk, it is:
Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.

Thank you for visiting. Peace, my friend.

My mind has preferences. My mind is NOT OK. My mind prefers to be OK. Dang those preferences (Nemesis).

I struggle with not understanding how to deal with the following: I have a dear, smart, always very helpful friend who remembers all the details it seems like about everything and everybody, and because of his ADD, he can't stop talking about all those details. I, on the other side, am quiet, don't need to share everything on my mind and thrive in stillness. My friend would love to do more things together, which I would also love, but because my friend constantly shares everything on his mind, being together feels somewhat stressful to me, I find myself resisting, spending as much time together as we both would love. I do not know how to deal with our differences and stop resisting spending more time together. I did share this with my friend. He doesn't talk too much because he is self-centered. It is who he is. Do I have any better choice on how to deal with this other than resisting?
