Personally, I enjoyed the Prison arc for BSD, but STL is a whole other level. 500 chapters worth of hype, the final arc of a main character after so many trials and tribulations, and the actual content, paneling, artwork, and literally everything is what makes it beloved to me. There are times I simply said, ‘Oh wow, that just happened.’ and simply moved on in the Prison Arc, whilst STL had me on my BALLS, physically moving from my seat flabbergasted, and screaming internally. And I’m usually not a reactive guy when just reading. Is this a personal experience? Yes. But it is shared among many who have read it.

BSD is great, don’t get me wrong, but does it truly compare to Usogui? In my books, it’s an absolute no. It is No Diff for STL for me. Low diff if I wanted to rate BSD higher.

Bruh its much easier in comparison to write smthing like prison game compared to STL, combining peak tier strategy, plot twists and the flow of logical outsmarting + writing compared to 'I anticipated your plan all along because yes'

Damn, peak edit. Tho mind games to STL, counter moves debatable for both (Perhaps STL, but Prison game had more action wise), dunno about psychological depth. Logical consistency..uhm yeah.

Mind Games, overkill Sako sensei managed to make an insanely complex play, using Drop the Handkerchief, a game played by children.

Counter Moves, BSD's author can't even something like 2Second Deviation or 3Deaths. Also Baku using his tie and flattening the Handkerchief or Hal's echolocation.

The pacing is perfect considering the game goes from 8AM to 9AM, by far the most enjoyable 80+ chapters in animanga.

Psycological depth, remove the flashbacks and Usogui still negs with Baku and Hal trying to read each other's mind.

Unpredictability, Hal achievieng perfection and Leap Second are some of the best plot twists ever.

Logical Consistency, STL is excellent because the reader already knows how both the players outsmart people and anything unexpected is explained to perfection.
