EBC’s Ultimate Fiesta Build | Part 5: Big Turbo & Engine Upgrades at Pumaspeed

EBC Brakes has embarked on an incredible journey to develop the ultimate Mk7 Ford Fiesta ST over the course of the next few months.

The project will involve some of the largest aftermarket performance companies in the world, each putting their own stamp on the car throughout the year. It's then set to be given away in 2021 for charity, in the most exciting competition that EBC Brakes has ever run – stay tuned for more details on how to enter.

In Part 5, we head over to Wakefield-based Pumaspeed – one of the most-loved Ford tuning outfits in the UK – for some serious engine upgrade work to take place, with the aim of hitting the fabled 400bhp figure once it’s all installed.

14:42 I was told that running a solid clutch plate can cause excessive forces to go into the gearbox causing issues and eventually breaking parts in the gearbox. What is Pumaspeeds experience with that?
