I am so glad you enjoyed The Way of Edan, Will, and I can't wait for your thoughts on book 2, which I'm taking a break from to watch your video! Thank you so much for the wonderful discussion with you and Ed -- it's both fun and meaningful for me to have the chance to chat about the book with friends who are also perceptive readers. Cheers!

Congratulations on 50K views William!

So far his month I have finished «Gurzil» by I, Anonymous, «The Way of Edan» by Philip Chase (My in-depth immersion read: Great stuff so far! The Wizard Galdor in ElLond=Galdor, member of ElRond’s Council as representative of the Grey Havens: I see what the Professor did there😉! Orvandil in King Earconwald’s hall “Sigseld”: Beowulf in King Hrothgar’s Hall “Heorot”. Chase mentioning “Beowulf”: “I’m shocked, shocked I tell you!» 😂
A failed redheaded Kingkiller? A subtle nod to Rothfuss and Sanderson? 🤔And I loved the nods to "Beowulf", the tale of Kullervo from the "Kalevala" and Wagner's "Ring Cycle" about the heroes Seigfried and Brunhilde, in the in-universe story of Wilfar and Aelfscyn!) and «The Years» by Annie Ernaux (A paragraph-mosaic book of the Nobel Prize Winner’s memories from the 1940’s to the 2000’s, with personal experiences mixed with her experience of larger cultural and political events).

I am currently alternating between these books:
"The Veiled Throne" by Ken Liu (Book #3 in the "Dandelion Dynasty" Series: What a prologue! Already in my top 3 reads of the year so far!)
«Ghost Fleet» by PW Singer and August Cole (Tech Thriller of a potential future war between China and USA, with Chinese occupation of Hawaii and US resistance fighters)
«The Little Emperors» by Alfred Duggan (My digital read: Set around the Roman retreat from Britain, a Civil Administrator is dodging plots of Imperial Pretenders and Assasinations)

I just received "Dreaming the Eagle", as well as Kat Parker’s “The Silence of the Girls” (A mythological retelling of the Trojan War from the Women of Troy’s perspective) and “The Restless Republic: Britain without a Crown” (non-fiction history book about Oliver Cromwell’s Commonwealth of Britain during the 17th Century, and as a big fan of the 1970 movie "Cromwell", I had to have it!)

Cheers!

I’m catching up with the Boudica series as I’m now halfway through Dreaming the Bull and will start to participate on the Discord if I can figure it out. Enjoying it quite a lot. I enjoy reading about Roman times. And you are so right about Manda Scott’s writing style, so good.

Can't believe I missesd that video! Thanks for the shout-out for Yellow Sky Revolt and congrats on the 50k views 😁 Boudica is absolutely brilliant. I really need to get back to this series which I haven't finished.

I loved Boudica book1, and have book2 saved to my Audible... I have to focus on Peirce Brown's Iron Gold, and A.P. Beswick's 2nd book in The Levanthria Series.... oh and I'm listening to Guards! Guards! I am hoping to listen to the 2nd Boudica in May! I love the narrators, btw!
