Anticipation at the Driving Exam – Part 1. In this video: Some tips on how to react in advance to obstacles, stopped vehicles, traffic signs and so on. One of the most common problems with students at the exam, is that they very often react too late in certain situations. This video gives you some tips on how to react in advance.

Another thing to consider in these situations is like what you said in your other videos: VISION. You have to prepare yourself by looking all around you to ensure that you know what's happening beside, behind, in front, and around your vehicle, using the mirrors, blind spots and just looking all around as much as possible. You can't just look in front, and not anticipate what will happen around the other areas of the vehicle. Especially at red lights, when you have a lot of time to anticipate anything that'll possibly happen.

This is one of those things that comes with practice and driving a lot. It's easy to say "keep vision of what is happening around you and in front so you can anticipate and adjust accordingly", but a new driver is stressing over so many basic things that it's very difficult.

When you've been driving for a while all of the basic things become second nature, and that's when you're able to focus on other things (anticipating stuff).
