I’m so glad you didn’t scrub this video, thank you for sharing what you learned so I can avoid the same mistake!

you could just go nuts with a multi-needle felting gadget and turn it felty. I started with old wool socks, wrapped wool/alpaca yarn around them.

I’ve never used dryer balls, but it seems like an interesting concept. Your simple mistake reminds me of my apron mistake I told you about! We all do it sometimes! I used to make homemade dryer sheets by soaking old strips of wash cloths in a container of fabric softener. Since it’s just my husband and myself now I don’t have a lot of laundry. It’s now just as inexpensive to purchase a large box of dryer sheets. They will last me a very long time.
I hope you have a wonderful week Crystal!

Thanks for posting this. It will help us all to carefully, carefully read the fine print. In a similar way, my "Queen of Creme Brulee" crown was removed because of "ultra-pasturized" whipping cream. The stuff had already been super heated and therefore would not make the custard.

Awesome video Crystal. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am a spinner and knitter/crocheter and I make my own dryer balls and they work amazing. I won't ever go back to dryer sheets that are full of chemicals. Thank you again and God Bless

This video is just great, I am so grateful to you, also, for the tip on making these dryer balls with feltable yarn. I made several from needle felting and honestly found it to be risky for me (and a got a poke or two), although I really like the result - they honestly do work. However, Hoebbii has a sale today (5/13/24) $2.50 a ball for a feltable yarn, which I was so happy to find. Budget friendly, and not high shipping. Thanks so much for the info on washable vs. non washable, I was not sure about that. I will definitely share your channel with my family - they enjoy home made goodness, too. By the way no way do you look old enough to be a mom of 10 kids and a grandma of 17! Great job, you look terrific.

Interesting video Crystal - thank you. I might try this sometime. I must say though that you are looking really well, glowing almost, and I am seriously impressed that you can sit on your couch crosslegged! Must be more IF benefits 🥰
PS Did my first 19:5 clean fast and the weight is dropping off now! X

Im thinking once the used dryer balls are done, they would make great toys for kittens/cats :)
