THESE 5 MODS TURN MEDIEVAL 2 INTO SOMETHING AMAZING! - Total War Mod Spotlights

Medieval 2 is a stellar game in the series but what’s even better than Medieval 2 are the mods that have been made for it over the years. From sprawling globe spanning campaigns to Lord of the Rings, from the Bronze Age to the Victorian, Medieval 2 in my honest opinion has the most complete & polished mods of any of the Total War games in the series and just for this alone it deserves to be the greatest of all time.

I’ve covered loads of Medieval 2 mods so far in this channel and I’ve got a lot more to get through, but today I wanted to do a bit of 2 birds 1 stone and cover a few in my all time top 5 list of Medieval 2 mods everyone needs to play. I won’t give any spoilers here but the mods I’ve chosen are based on my experience and what I believe should be a good balance of content, stability & polish. Hopefully you agree and if there’s something you’ve never seen before you’ll give it a try!

I am badly wanting a remaster of Medieval 2 that will allow the game to run better and to be modded through workshop. If there's any way for you to put pressure on CA and Feral to do that or to find out if they are, that'd be awesome!

I have been on an Anglo-Saxon Britain / pre Kingdom of England YouTube docu binge recently and I’m really excited to try out Insularis Draco! I had not heard of this mod yet! I still have yet to pick up ToB so seeing this video made me pumped! Thank you, for all of your hard work. You do great things for the TW community!

nice video and tastes all along, but I was really sold when you mentionned bulat and mostly Tzardoms at the end^^ Even from the beta versions, i was amazed by the ambition and stability of Tzardoms, this mod is glorious in all aspects!

Third age DAC is amazing, since seeing your video on insularis draco iv not been able to leave the game alone lol it blows thrones ot of the water. Gotta say aswell I d love stainless steel and ES total war. There is also a Dragon age total war still in development or there was anyway which looked amazing

1. Stainless Steel - most precisely the SSHIP
2. Europa Barbarorum II
3. Chivalry II The Sicilian Vespers - five eras campaign (Dark Age, Early, High, Late and Renaissance)
4. Third Age - Massive Overhaul Submod (MOS) and Divided & Conquer
5. Insularis Draco

Roar of Conquest deserves a spot and does better than stainless steel, no crashes, stable mod. Reworked unit details are absolutely stunning. The pikes and musket formations are top tier and smooth.

It's a shame that Steam still hasn't put up a Modding Workshop for Medieval 2.

I missed lategame medieval 2 so much I re-bought it and kingdoms on steam yesterday. I never really got into playing stainless steel back in the day so I'm doing that now. I never managed to reach late tech in medieval kingdoms 1212 without completely dominating. thanks for the video I think ill try all the mods mentioned.
