Saw it 4 times in London and closing night. It was stunning and heart breaking every time. It took a score I never really cared for and turned it into one of my favourite musicals.

I heard Nicole's version of with one look and it is so beautiful and powerful. I love the color and shading of her voice. She doesn't just blast it. She really caresses and makes the words something you can feel I give her a 10.

I've seen the show twice in NYC. Was in absolute awe both times. Saw the opening preview and it was honestly the first Broadway show I've seen where the audience did standing ovations during the actual show - and numerous times. The second time there weren't as many standing ovations but the cast and orchestra still had to keep cutting off the applause and cheering because of how long it went on. The entire cast is absolutely stellar. Nicole, Tom, Grace, and David killed it. Both times there were people all around me wiping tears throughout the show. Especially "With One Look, " "As if we Never Said Goodbye, " and the final scene with Norma's breakdown. If nothing, Max frigging gutted me. I'm usually a purist when it comes to shows I love. I usually hate remakes, revivals, etc. Sunset is one of my top favorite shows. Because I saw so much online from the London show, I went in with zero expectations of the Sunsets of yore with the grandiose set and costumes and I honestly think the stellar vocals more than made up for lack of sets. Honestly, I think there were a few weird moments in the show when not having props was a bit weird (like when Joe is supposed to be reading the script), but don't think it hurt the show. All in all, bravo to everyone involved!

Best show I've ever seen. Saw it in London last year. Again at St James two days ago. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the whole performance but Nicole - well, she is out of this world

I don’t normally write anything on social media, but I can’t believe the hype for this production ! I also must be living on another planet . I found it boring, disconnecting and stale !
Character development was horrific, with no props on stage at all ! Worst broadway play my daughter and I have seen in our lives and we’ve seen quite a few!! We have no idea what the critics are raving about when there were people even sleeping in their seats ! We also saw the Broadway play Gypsy which is right across the street from this one and that was the real freaking deal with Audra McDonald.Just My two cents !

I just saw it today and knew basically nothing beyond starlet-past-her--prime and a couple songs and I cannot stop thinking about it. Just arresting from start to finish, aesthetic is unreal, Nicole blew my mind. So grateful this was the show I picked to see in addition to Ragtime on my little microtrip this weekend. (Ragtime was phenomenal too. Josh Henry is a generational talent.)

For someone whose first Broadway shows I saw in person, were Funny Girl with Barbra Streisand, original Cabaret etc. you know my age and eras I have been through. I was very skeptical about this production when I first saw Mickey Jo Theatre's review from the West End Production. I thought "How could they destroy an old standard?" Then I begin reading more reviews and was begining to know more. What just sold me was watching Mickey Jo's video reacting for the first time to the cast recording. OMG not only is the story more powerful but the cast is AMAZING!! The recording is like watching the whole show as much of it is sung. I have also seen and heard about the special effects. Then I saw another video where Kate filmed three versions of the actual walk outside that Tom Francis does during the show, so intriguing! I would love to see it in person though I think I would be so emotionally drained I couldn't leave the theatre!! I wish I lived closer (I am in Oregon), I would definitely see it. I don't got to NYC often but I am going for the final performance of Suffs in January ( I have already seen it at the Public and two performances on Broadway!) . I can only stay one day because of one of my cats who is special needs or I would stay more days and see Sunset Boulevard! SUFFS last performance is on a Sunday, not a two show day so I can only see one show. I love your videos!
