This year marks the 40th Anniversary of Status Quo's 20th Anniversary Tour, 1 + 9 + 8 + 2 = X X. On the 13th & 14th May 1982, Status Quo played live at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham with the latter being attended by H.R.H Prince Charles due to the bands donation to his charity "The Prince's Trust".

Both nights were recorded, with the latter of the 2 being broadcast and released by the band on various formats. The show was broadcast numerous times by BBC, varying in lengths, and mainly appearing on Tommy Vance's very own "Friday Rock Show".

I always liked the filming of this. They give you like to enjoy the shot before moving on.

A lot of concerts these days seem to change the camera shots far too often.

I'm not saying the chosen camera shots are perfect but at least you can watch something before they love on.

Ricks Ovation viper was used a lot for open g tunings, it gives the Song his charakter, 1975 and 1976 they used it a lot in the studio and on tour... little lady/most of the time, rolling home, ease your mindestens, ring of change, rain, down down, over and done ect. It is status quo knowledge of good music and easy looking playing, as parfitt says: you have to play it full hearted with much power and dynamic.... you get it right
