🚀🤖 In this video, I'm so excited to share with you the latest update for Space Engineers, the Automatons Update! Keen Software House has done an incredible job with the new AI blocks. These blocks are the move type that defines how the ship can move, the task type, which defines what it should move to, and the combat type which takes over when enemies are detected within 2.5km. I'm thrilled about the AI Flight block that lets you define how the vehicle should fly, the Task Blocks that have follow player, follow home, and autopilot modes, and the advanced AI Recorder that lets you record a path, set a reference beacon and trigger actions.

💥 But wait, there's more! Combat AI blocks are the real deal for people who love guns! The AI defensive block lets you define what it needs to defend against, lock the target, and set a fleeing point. The AI Offensive block deals with the other side of the coin, targeting nearby grids based on the threat criteria you define, and executing one of four attack patterns, including intercept, which is a boon for player made missiles. The Event Controller is another exciting block that lets you trigger other blocks based on conditions. I've already found some fantastic uses for it that will shake up the way Space Engineers is played!

👊 The combat changes have been simplified, and we're going over those, too. Keen Software House has done an amazing job with the Space Engineers Automatons Update, and I can't wait for you to try it out too!

I just wish the event controller had more actions. You only have two so you still have to use a timer block for more actions, and if you want a delay between actions on the timer block, then you have to still use another timer block. But it's still very cool!

Unless they fixed it, reversing the order of the way points did not work for me on the recorder block. It just scrambled them
