AFTERBUZZ TV -- Scandal is a weekly "after show" for fans of ABC's Scandal. In this show, host Emile Ennis Jr. breaks down the episode in which a governor seeks revenge after his wife is raped, and then he wants Olivia to do damage control. Elsewhere, Cyrus' husband prepares to return to his career as a political journalist, a move that blindsides Cyrus and Fitz. The juxtaposition of love in this episode was the shoe thing between
Verna and Liv, and Fitz and Liv. Different kinds of love, but Love all the same. Heart warming.
Pointing out Emile's reaction to d realization of d meaning of Hollis going rogue was priceless LMAO.
I feel like Olivia was there from the beginning because she was called in when they were still at the stage of the republican primaries. Thats a long way from the elections and of she didn't know about it, she wasn't doing her job.

Hi I really love your show. Your comments and predictions makes me see the episode in a different light when I rewatch t. Scandal is only into S1 ep4 here in Australia but after watching Ep 1 I just had to find a way to get all the episodes online. I had a Scandal weekend and watched all them all at once. .I stumbled across your show while viewing Scandal on Youtube. So watching it after Scandal is a must. Oddly enough, I loved her response to Senator Davis. I saw a glimpse of a different Olivia, a bit more light and sprightly. Oh! where is your sense of courtship; she simply means: “maybe yes, but proceed with caution.”

OMG - I am dying b/c now reading your username it makes perfect sense and I love it!!! I think the story planted by the guy at the griddle was the story about the internet security being hackable. The story about the voting machines, I think is real story that's why Olivia looked so serious. But then again, with Scandal you never know.

I really loved the last scene between Olivia and Cyrus, I think Liv needed someone to talk or not talk but who does understand and known what's going on !!and the scene with Verna love that woman!!and my favorite from lat night episode is when Cy says to Mellie that u may be an animal but I am Monster, actually ever since I saw that moment in sneak peek I was looking forward to it! And I was even happier to see the whole dialogue #Addicted to Scandal every episode is just amazing !!

I caught that as well, I think it was symbolic to hammer home that they are incapable of separating work and pleasure, that the lines are always blurred.

This is exactly why Mellie needs to watch her step. Her and Olivia are the same when you think of the power they hold, the thing is Olivia has everyones respect and highest esteem while Mellie comes off like a bully with no ones respect. And she really needs to tread carefully where Cyrus is concerned, she is poking a beast she just dont understand how far he will go, after their conversation I believe she got it!

Great analysis and discussion! My favorite so far. There's sooo much to talk about. One thing I'm wondering do y'all think Abby will loop in Quinn instead of Harrison? Because Harrison and Huck both seem ride or die but Quinn is questioning and wants to know what happened to her.
