How to Sew in Sleeves Right the First Time - Sleeve TUTORIAL

The only sleeve tutorial you will ever need. This is my fail safe method for perfect sleeves.

This tutorial is by no means a 'cheat' or a 'hack'. It is lengthy and in depth, but it will give you a much better understanding of how sleeves works. This makes it much easier to get beautifully smooth sleeve seams and will help you to understand where you might be going wrong.

I am so pleased I found your channel. This video really shows how perfect you are for someone like me who is just beginning, but wants to work towards producing pieces of a professional standard. Some channels are professional, but are impossible to follow unless you are also professional. This video was exactly what I was looking for. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to trash sewing projects due to not knowing how to attach sleeves correctly. Most of the sewing tutorials I've found on YT are practically useless as they almost always fail to provide true step by step instructions, which are necessary for beginners. In fact, I just left a video where the guy was already in the middle of the sewing process at the start of the video! Not only that, but he had positioned his camera in such a way that you couldn't even see what he was doing due to his sewing machine obstructing the view. Thank you so much for this tutorial! I had part of the process, but I did not even think about hand tacking the piece! Knowing the sleeve ease all has to fit across the top makes a huge difference. I have sewn many sleeves, and was never happy with any of them. I think that is about to change!
