Our House Almost Burnt Down!

We had a scary situation in our SOTy Shack this week! A lamp was left on the wood railing and it caused a fire to start. The entire gym was filled with smoke and a large hole had burnt through the wood and the dry wall causing an extremely dangerous situation. If we hadn't checked on the gym when we did the fire could have spread and burnt down our house.

my house almost burnt down today to, i didnt know i couldnt put foil in ths microwave and it caught on fire and almost burnt my microwave burn down which could have lead to my house buring down but we are safe now sending prays for u guys!

If you're still having issues with the smoke smell, you should get the Edenpure thunderstorm air purifiers. We had a small basement fire at our house and one of those on each floor of the house cleared out the smoke smell.

The wood in the wall is still smoking, so it actually is on fire. There just aren't any flames.
It didn't burst into flames because the light on top was limiting the oxygen. It could have burst into flames when you opened it up and it got more oxygen to the embers.
It was pure luck that it happened the way it did.
