The beautiful Taal volcano, located in Tagaytay, south of Manila, in the Philippines, is the smallest active volcano in the world. Is also considered one of the most dangerous, despite its size. We spend 2 amazing days exploring this stunning area of the Philippines.

When you chance upon this area again, consider too 'Tagaytay' if you want to see scenic rural packets in PH. In here, you may look for authentic PH dish/food like Bulalo, adobo, etc. Another place to see if you're looking to cool is Baguio city in the far north. To be honest, you came in Metro Manila at good timing as it's not too warm/humid this past weeks.

Oh, you were already in Tagaytay :) Cool!
May you share the name of the building?

Taal Lake used to be an inland sea in the 18th Century. According to the old folks, there used to be sharks in Taal Lake. There are still sardines, sea snakes, and trevally thriving in the lake and have adopted to the fresh water.

that volcano looks so tiny, serene and peaceful on ordinary days but it can cause so much misery during its turbulent moments. four years ago it destroyed so many livestocks and properties in the surrounding areas where the main livelihood is farming.

Taal is NOT the smallest active volcano. In fact, it's one of the largest because the entire LAKE is the volcano crater. It just so happened that recent eruptions are now centered within the volcano island, but during prehistoric times, the entire lake was the crater. What you focused on the video is "Binintiang Munti" which is one of the smaller vents of the volcano.
