BMO & Ice King being the most wholesome friends ever

I love that Ice King and BMO get along so well because they're both kind of delusional and live in their own little worlds, so whenever they get together, their "own little worlds" kinda just merge together like a ven diagram and their own logic just makes sense to one another, and on some weird level, they just "get" each other. Their delusions together just paint an imaginary world they can live in together and it makes sense to them, like they're a little club that's a secret to everyone else.

i feel like this connects to the narrative of simon being fatherly. even in his cursed state, he genuinely enjoys playing with BMO. you can see his dadness shining through especially on 0:24. And i think BMO knows ice king needs this, they're not just playing for themself, they're playing to get ice king involved. these two have such a heartwarming dynamic
