Ok interesting and cool idea. But would this absorption of heat energy not continuously built up temp on the outside of craft and eventually have a heat signature? Is the black paint partly to mitigate this? And would the paint need to be recoated after every flight since it’s being stressed/eroded by heat/conditions? I realize it has the radar flecks in it, can those pieces help dispel/ higher the heat load/limit? I’m sure there is a breakpoint tho Not an engineer lol plz layman term it. Thanks.

Be cool to see a plane coated in bismuth crystals, there’s zero chance a bismuth crystal will reflect a signal back in the same direction due to its shape
