Timeless finale

It's great, just finished the series. Sad that only had two seasons, but I'm so happy they got a real finale. That ending scene really made it by giving the start of the series a whole new view. I never noticed how unsure and nervous he was about all this.

La boucle est bouclée... C'est une série que j'ai adoré, on passe par toutes les émotions... Elle est vraiment fantastique géniale, de mon point de vue en tout cas. l'expression "Ne pas se fier aux apparences" prend tout son sens dans cette série.

This was always on my suggested series for years but I only took the time to watch it last week (April 2023). I thought it was corny at first and kept comparing it to the Legends of Tomorrow -whose time travel theory are always logical. But I realized you're not in it for the logic of time travel because after all, it's still not a real thing as far as we know. You're in it for the adventure.
Flynn was such a likeable dude even when he was the villain. A lot of plot holes and cliché (I knew Jessica was Rittenhouse the second she appeared alive) but man, what an adventure it was.
Didn't like it but I liked it. The Timeless Paradox. Lol

Lucy gave up on her sister so callously. What happened to Amy was worse than death. She literally didn't exist at all. No funeral, no memorial, nothing. That whole thing wasn't like her character at all. If I was Wyatt, I would have been appalled by that.

Why did they not show the team going back to give their younger selves the diary & souped-up lifeboat to save Rufus? They showed the visit to Flynn. If they don't go back to save Rufus, THEN HE DOESN'T GET SAVED & THEY DON'T STOP RITTENHOUSE!

In my story when Lucy, Rufus and Wyatt in 2023 travel back to São Paulo (2014), Lucy and Flynn are happily married and have a three-and-a-half-year-old daughter (Amy). Lucy gives Flynn the journal, introduces herself, then tells him that he's a true hero, the greatest among them and he should not forget that she _loves_ him. When the Lifeboat comes back to California, 2023 Lucy suffers from a terrible headache and throws up (😀), then admits Flynn that she feels very sick because of the stress, the worrying, the time travelling back to a timeline where she already existed - and pregnancy. Flynn is shocked and surprised and touched. 😊 He tells that his wife is the strongest and the bravest in the world because she travelled 9 years back and there in time in the very uncomfortable Lifeboat while expecting their child. Lucy laughs and tells she had no choice. They kiss and hug - and Lucy cries because of the hormones and the happiness and relief that Flynn 2023 is there for her (for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part 😉) and is way more balanced and joyful than Flynn 2014. By seven months later their twin daughters (Lily and Rose) will have been born. They'll live happily ever after. ❤

Oh, and I nearly forgot that Wyatt was asked by Flynn (forced by Flynn 😁) to go with Lucy and Rufus to São Paulo 'cause he thought the whole travelling would be safer with a soldier. Especially with Wyatt himself. (And the Lucy-Rufus-Wyatt trio have already proved many times their suitability. 😉)

I pretend that so-called "official final movie" is the fanfiction, it never happened in "real timeline" and _my version_ is the real, normal and official ending of _Timeless_ ! 😄

I liked the series although it's full of logical and historical goofs and mistakes and it should have been at least twice longer...

...but I _absolutely hate_ and simply ignore and reject the existence of the awful, horrible, disgusting and so very disappointing final movie, I cannot accept it as part of the canon and the official end of _Timeless_ and Lucy and Flynn's story!!! (I'd rather call it a crazy, illogical, totally out-of-character fanfiction instead of a real and normal ending...) Garcia Flynn shouldn't have passed away, he would have deserved a better, a way better ending, a chance to settle down, start a new life and have a new family (with Lucy!), a chance to love again and to be loved in return. ❤ And have I mentioned the series should have been at least twice longer...?

Lucy & Wyatt:
• are forced
• are boring
• are annoying _together_
• are better as friends than as a couple
• do not match at all (neither the characters nor the actors)
• there is no spark, no chemistry and no (sexual) tension between them

If Lucy and Wyatt were a real-life couple they would be divorced within a few years 'cause they have absolutely nothing in common! Lucy is very smart, well-read, intelligent but Wyatt... Well, Wyatt is not! What the hell would they talk about???

So I pretend the final "fanfiction" movie didn't happen at all. 😉 In my story Rufus is saved and Jessica is killed by Flynn (but he doesn't have to sacrifice himself!), he and Lucy admit their feelings and love to each other, become a couple, get married, have 3 daughters (the eldest is Amy, the youngers are identical twins, Lily and Rose) and live happily ever after. ❤

No matter what anybody (including the crazy, stupid scriptwriters) says, Lucy and Flynn belong together. 💕 I was so pissed off with the ending that I had to write my own version... I _had to_ rewrite history! 😆
