I'll bet your dad was over the moon that Santa finally brought him his red truck. How wonderfully thoughtful of you! And he now has it with him always. So sweet! Even tho I've got my Brit roots, I didn't know the significance of the robbin and our loved ones. Over here, it's the Cardinals that carry that gift. Well done Sally I have been watching you from the beginning and enjoyed everyone. I was touched about the story of the red train. My beloved husband passed away before this last Christmas and as a family we put treasures in his coffin, even our 5 year old Great Grandaughter wanted a litle teddy to go in. It brought me great comfort. Love the progress on the stag I am still waiting for the fabric to come across the water. x

My mom had a similar story about Chatty Cathy (a talking doll from the 50s and 60s) and my grandmother gave her one about 15-20 years ago. What a wonderful memory of your dad. Have a great week!
