Disable Face ID by holding the side button and the power button for a few seconds… Brilliant. Thank you so much. I’m coming from one +6 that I had finger ID and a pin, are used to double tap the screen to disable to finger ID and force a pin. Thank you so much for teaching me this.

This is a pretty helpful video. I wish I had watched it 4 months ago, before I purchased my 1st iPhone.

But, oh my gosh, there is no possible way that any novice could master these gestures in a reasonable time frame. Which helps me understand why I continue to struggle.

I’m guessing that I’d have to watch this video dozens of times to master these gestures.

For example, to open Control Panel, your video clearly showed how to do it. A Tips and Tricks app I was trying tried to convey the same information. But I mis-read it and thought I had to swipe diagonally, not vertically.

But more to the point, it has been so long, I can’t remember why I wanted to go to the Control Panel. e.g., How is my life better because I can get to Control Panel?

I’m coming to the conclusion that I am unable to master using an iPhone and am considering going back to Samsung / Android.
