you can turn the flash on permanently while shooting any style video slo mo portrait etc..
all you do is swipe up from one of the camera options, such as video cinematic slo mo etc, , new menu appears and click the flash icon and select on.

There is a way to set it to flash always on for video. Hit the lightning bolt in the bottom right corner after turning flash on auto.

So if you want the flash on but the camera thinks it doesn’t need to be we can’t use it?

It’s mad annoying that the lightning bolt on the top left doesn’t turn on the flash but rather turns on auto flash. FUCK AUTO FLASH
