I think there is a mistake in R4 because say (2, 1) is (x, y) and (1, 2) is (y, z) but (2, 2) i.e (x, z) is not present in the relation 4 so how come relation R4 is transitive

Sir in R4 if (2, 1) and (1, 2) is there then (2, 2) is not forming then so the R4 becomes Not Transitive.

i have doubts in relation R1 which you mentioned as a by default transitive.

R4 (1, 2) and (2, 1) there is (1, 1) but if we put them like (2, 1) and (1, 2) then (2, 2) is not there and it is not transitive .. Also we apply walsh transitive closure R4 is not transitive . May be I am wrong ..
