Driving a Freightliner Classic!

The Peterbilt went to the shop today so I got a chance to re-live old glory days on the football field, and take the Freightshaker out for one last local pickup.

2003 Freightliner Classic with 6NZ CAT POWER!! WOOO KITTY CATS CLIMB HILLS!! Fully loaded B-trains 137'000lbs. First half of leaving the facility is all uphill.

Miss my 03 Classic XL. Mine had a Detroit in it. Got rid of it with the Elog mandate here in the States. Bought a 96 FLD to replace her for now.

Did you make the "STOP"? The one where you stop, get out and walk around, trying to figure out if the one of the brakes are sticking. Whilst looking for that lose part that may or may not have fallen off before you got pulled over...!!

Some of the tri axle drivers are scary. I had one fly by me on the shoulder. Then use a turning lane in a intersection to pass 3 cars and cut one off
