I used virtualdub mod for extremely basic editing. I've found that useful, but since lightworks is free, there is no need to worry about any other programs, and 720p youtube export (the limitation of free version) is satisfying.

mine is the latest version of virtualdub but when i save the segmented avi. It saves the video in many other video parts.
For eg. i edited a video of 3 min and when i saved it, virtual dub saved it in 12 videos of 25 seconds each.
now how to fix this problem

hey i have everything installed and ready but it wont compress it just does nothing i selected the right compresser like the on in the video but it wont work

hey priest, when I downloaded th virtualdub, it doesn't import the videos and it keeps giving me an error message, also when I go to video and see the compression I don't have the video option there which is the last option. Any thoughts about this.

I'm having a problem, Virtual Dub doesn't let me insert several frames at once and I really don't feel like going through frames one by one because I would spend the whole day doing that.
