That means give the insurance companies more power to write their own check regarding profits!

I made a claim through State Farm for some water damage and somehow a $3000 1 month repair became a $28000 year long repair due to the way the contractors they employ do their work. State Farm should check that first. They’re getting ripped off by contractors causing extra damage, at least at my house.

My home insurance is up ~50% and car over 90% due to insurers leaving CA and having to find a new policy. Not living in a flood/fire zone.

One of the Big issues was the state issuing building permits in proven high risk area of the state for residential building that have no escape roads or fire suppression departments. They allowed the area in Mark West to be rebult even thogh it has suffered more than one firestorm The Fountain grove area burned multiple times and even forbidden to issue permits was allowed to be built on, The Sierra foothills now saturated with homes yet not equipped to deal with fire and tinder dry during the summer. Healdburg and Lake Sonoma now has huge houses on the ridge tops and Mill creek just a couple years ago caught fire and was out of control, another area lacking in any substantial fire protection. When is enough enough?

State Farm is not a fair insurancer, people constantly find State Farm not wanting approve claims even when a household never made a claim in decades. State Farm CEO makes over 300 thousand dollars a year
