When we hear beautiful and emotive vocal performances like Adele’s on “One and Only”, we often overlook the DETAILS that make it so stinking beautiful.

By all means, the tone of her voice is delicious. And the song is well written. But beyond that, it’s the scoops, grace notes, dynamics, vibrato, restraint, register changes, riffs, runs and unique details the singer adds that bring a song to life. The decisions a singer makes in the moment. ♥️

I must have been in a spicy mood the day I recorded this song because I added a lot more grit than Adele does… And maybe even more than I typically would! It’s neat to look back actually! Different day, different details!

Many of your statements in the video are often tampered with by him using Chinese subtitles to completely contradict your meaning. For example, if you want to express that the competition doesn't put all the emphasis on the technique of vocal, but he uses the Chinese subtitles to say that you mean you know some incorrect insider information about Chinese variety shows. In the end, Flo crazily slanders Na Ying, saying that adding a monologue to the song makes her uncomfortable, but the original song itself has a monologue.
