In my opinion, this has been the best fantasy I read this year, and I read basically only fantasy novels! :P For the next and last book, The Doors of Stone, we have to wait, I hope it will be released next year.
Anyway, very nice review, you managed to tell the story and to make people interested in this book without doing spoilers! (Forgive me if my English contains mistakes, but I'm Italian)

This is one of my favourite series of all time and it's not even completed yet! The writing is some of the most beautiful I've read - genre book or not.

I read the first book recently and I enjoyed it a lot! (I know am pretty late reading this series) And the size did scare me. I think there will be only one book i.e. the 3rd one and it will be the last. And people are speculating its release - some say it will be out in summer 2016 and as per Goodreads it says 2017. Let's wait and see and this gives me plenty of time to finish book 2 :)
