I just that is so sick I had a 73 4x4 4spd single cab long bed no power steering no power brakes but had AC got it from grandpa when he passed miss him and that beast put it in 4 low and first gear it would idle up anything

So I'm guessing that truck had either a 351 a 390 or a 400 what would you say about going from that engine to a453 as far as power. I have the same engine turbocharged on a engine stand right now debating on what to do with it

I've been wanting to get a truck with a 4-53T in it as my first truck in a few years, any suggestions on where to find one?

When I get enough money I'd like to go to a junkyard and get a 1973-1991 Chevrolet K30 Crew Cab Long Bed Dually and put a 4-53T In it along with a good transmission like a 5 Speed Allison Transmission and 3 speed Brownie Box.

But until then, what are some factory trucks that have the 4-53T that I could find for sale in the United States?
