I'll never forget 'Mr. Wonderful' calling workers lazy while running defense for SBF who scammed people for money while playing video games all day.

Not only does he know nothing about building a business, he doesn't even want to. If you take a closer look at his business investments in Shark Tank, he's looking to make deals that have royalties attached to them, especially in perpetuity.

Kevin O'Leary is an actor. The minute his lips start moving I stop listening because I know what comes out is going to be a performance.

He was ALL IN for SBF and FTX! How soon we forget? He bragged on all the cable shows how SBF’s parents were “lawyers” so it had to be “legal”. What a 🤡🤡🤡

What an amazing video Aaron. I honestly was clueless about his softkey company. With ftx he lost his credibility for sure but now it’s clear as a sky. Thank you for speaking the truth. It’s so important in today’s world.

Great video. As a Canadian, I've watched O'Leary for many years and every time I see this grifter I'm embarrassed to admit that he's a fellow Canadian citizen.

I’ve been telling my friends about this fake self promoter for years. Thanking for posting it and your research. Well done.

I worked for several storied consumer software companies. It was well known that KO's modus operandi was to acquire a company, and then immediately layoff all the employees that created the content and built the brands. He would hire low cost outsourcing companies to whip up crappy version upgrades that were lousy money grabs. Rumors were rampant at the time that he was cooking his books, and people were aghast at the Mattel deal. He ruined companies and brands, and this was well known. I've been telling people this story since Shark Tank became popular, and I have yet to find someone who had any knowledge of his history.

I really thought that FTX thing would kill his reputation. I even predicted he would lose his Shark Tank gig. Especially after that CNBC interview where his only excuse for getting scammed by some nerd kid was, "we looked like idiots". But I was wrong, he somehow got passed it and is everywhere giving financial advice, and he still plays the lead actor on Shark Tank.

O'Leary was at one time musing about running for the leadership of the Canadian federal conservative party. The country dodged a bullet when he re-considered.

I remember buying a Softkey program form Fry's. Great packaging, unfinished useless software. I could not understand how this company stayed in business. Now I know.

O'Leary said that he lost $16 million in FTX. However, it is not clear that he actually put money into the company. He may have been referring to the fees he was paid by FTX, which if I remember correctly may have been in the form of one of the FTX coins. His real losses appear to have been in the form of his own time and effort, not cash he invested from his other assets.

Its incredible what happened to O'Leary funds. I astutely remember Kevin quoting it as an example of his success when lecturing a real estate entrepreneur who came on Shark Tank.

To hear that it fell so far and was nothing like what Kevin touted it to be is laughable.

He's a really good reality TV actor who through self promotion and the help of NBC has convinced a lot of the public that he is some kind of business and financial genius which he clearly is not.

I knew he was a phony from a completely different angle years ago, his interest in watches was purely superficial, he couldn't remember model numbers and technicalities, yet tried to sell himself as a watch connesseouir and dodged convos.

Great video and summary. I am always stunned at the continued success of Kevin O'Leary following the incredible shady sale of The Learning Tree to Mattel. Mattel did not do its due diligence and the CEO ended up resigning in disgrace but somehow O'Leary came out unscathed. People are very surprised when I tell them about the dubious way that he became a multi millionaire. Very strange that his background/history is rarely reported in the mainstream.

I've always thought the same. People like him, one must be very cautious doing business with! They'll turn on you in a spit to protect their downside at all costs. Even if it comes at your expense. Thanks for sharing this information.

Well done. He is great at … self promotion. He is the kind of guy who tries to convince people he knows a lot about fine wine by ordering the most expensive selection on the menu.

I will never understand these people. If I sold a company for 4 BILLION dollars, I'd retire to easy street, spend the rest of my life with my family, and help out as many people as I could.
