Renogy Rover Elite MPPT Solar Charge Controller with PV Solar Panel String

Some quick observation regarding solar charge controllers and possible improvements. Notice the panels are rated at Imp=5.7A and Isc=6.1A, yet when in series we easily put 7A+ into the battery with this solar charge controller.....if we have this large a current through the panels i suspect their lifespan might be degraded. Hopefully only post charge controller, to the battery.
