Florenza the board game uses the Caylus-like concept of being able to use other players' buildings, which I love. It looks like that idea was taken out on this, which makes me sad. However, the flow of play of the board game is a bit of a bear, and it is very disappointing to be screwed over by a die in a long, thinky game, which is ameliorated in this iteration. It sounds like in taking out a lot of what makes Florenza hard to manage, they took out the one thing I like most about Florenza. That makes me sad but I'll give it a try my traded copy nonetheless.
