Looks good. My mom and grandmother always filled them with farmer cheese and boiled them.

What happened to boiling the pierogi before frying with onions? I’ve never seen them made this way. My Polish grandmother never skipped the boiling part of making pierogi.

This is not hot water dough as I know it. Mine melts the fat (lard in my case) in hot water and then adds it to the dry ingredients.
