The grind to just play the base roster alone is dumb

Characters locked behind the battlepass until it’s over is something I’ve never liked and I shamed OW2 for pulling that shit and I’m no hypocrite it’s bad here too

I loved the beta because playing the game hit me fun rewards that’s kept me playing.

I know people try and say cosmetics aren’t important but they are literally the only thing you unlock in the game

They game is built around rewarding players with cosmetics which whereas before I could play whenever I wanted and feel accomplished for getting something the game makes it very clear cosmetics aren’t for mfs who don’t spend money

It’s very clear that WB did what WB does and focused on monetization more than delivering a game

I also believe one of the developers stated that they’ve seen the complaints some valid and some not which is worrying because I have a bad feeling the “non important” complaints to them are anything that allows you to unlock stuff without cash 🫤

Also I get that the gameplay was slowed down to make casual (trash) players feel better but it didn’t need to be slowed down this much. The game might as well be a turn based game now. The dodge mechanic is neutered and combos are significantly dumbed down.

At least other shameless games with a battlepass pretend to care by giving you the new character at like level 50 something.

The battlepass is garbage and I’m so sick of every game trying to implement one. You unlock a total of 2 skins if you spend no money and the battle pass gives you nothing for playing

They give you a taste of the Ingame currency but make sure it’s jittery enough or you might have… been able to unlock something!?!?! 😨

I want this game to be great but it’s got the generic first signs of a game that money over gameplay and after the millionth time seeing it I have no reason to believe multiversus will take a different path.

Cast is still cool tho I can’t believe banana goat made it in 🍷🗿

On Xbox series s if you go to the select characters in the lobby your game freezes temporarily then eventually unfreezes

My biggest issue with the game is the progression, I have only unlocked 1 character. I was hoping the single player would make things easier but the single player, only gives rewards that help you in the single player😅 Also the battle pass takes forever. I still think it’s a lot of fun and I prefer the actual fighting over something like super smash bros just because the ability’s, I just don’t like the limited characters.

One of my complaints is the obvious money hungry bull that is made obvious because you have to pay $210 if you want to play all the characters and that’s bullshit because why play a game where you have to pay over $100 just to have options
