The beta was better sadly, its confirmed they even slowed the game down by 20%(when the game was already fucking slow) you cant mix and match perks, AND the servers are terrible now. Mf get disconnected every 2 matches

That’s not how a fighting game works. Smash Bros and Street Fighter keep lasting like this because of their diverse roster. Like in Smash Ultimate: we got these sword characters for you to play rushdown-type, we got some heavier characters to play grapplers, and we have some projectile-based zoners.
Instead of running off that logic, they’re opting to do something that works somewhere else. This is uncharted territory for them, and they’re too stubborn to tey something new now.

Fr Fr, though IMO the roster is hardly the biggest issue. The game already felt floaty and slow in the beta, but it kinda worked just cause it was primarily a 2v2 game. Slowing it even further made it feel like ur swimming in molasses when you jump and I am not vibing w that. The monetization is also pretty awful, and it feels even worse cause the beta was monetized. I hope they fix the mess cause at its core this game is a perfectly serviceable free alternative to smash with way better online netcode. If it works out, this’ll be the party game of choice when I can’t have friends over in person.

So in other words us gamers are acting like spoiled brats? There's to many expectations from gamers. Games cant exceed expectations anymore the best they can do is meet them. My biggest problem with the game has always been the connection issues which is better then it was in the beta with them still working on it. I dont think ppl realize they had to remake the game entirely when moving to a new engine. Games been out like 2 weeks where theyve been fixing connection issues so ppl can enjoy the game but u guys shame them for not having more characters like bruh. I wish fortnite didn't spoil everyone with new content constantly bc now yall feel entitled to it.

The game isn't bad, it is just in an age where people are still playing Smash Ultimate or the Nick game, Multiversus just feels like the little brother trying to copy their older siblings.

I always held the firm belief that Warner Bros simply created this game out of the fact that Sakurai announced that he was retiring from Smash. Meaning they was probably gonna be a power vacuum in terms of who would inherit Smash's Will and Torch. Cause LITERALLY after Sakurai said Smash was at its likely end, Multiversus dropped.
