The significant tornado parameter is the highest I've ever seen as you go into the evening with it almost triple the maximum in which the scale reaches. Keep safe everyone!

Get a good night's sleep, James!

You will probably have another long day and night on the air tomorrow (March 25th, 2021).

Any thoughts of Georgia Friday? I barely trust our weather people lol of course most of the time these storms get wrecked if they try to go north. Southern Georgia different story

Mr. James, I noticed in our last severe WX event it seemed cooler over bham. It just didn’t “FEEL” like many severe weather days in memory living in Alabama all my life. I realize that isn’t the only component for severe weather and tornadoes, (and bear with me) but events such as April 27th, THAT day felt like a stormy, ominous day at beach in Birmingham. It was tropical in nature and the atmosphere was screaming. There was a creepy feel in the air, howling winds and I was genuinely afraid.
I know you grow tired of those of us whom make the comparison, but I am genuinely interested in all things weather and why some severe weather events can vary far and wide but still produce long range tornadoes and super cell (cyclonic) storms.

Why are we set up for severe weather outbreak with damaging winds and strong tornadoes and I have the heat on in my home this morning?
It is early yet, but If it were a sunny, warm, blustery day with humidity and a storm front on our heels, my antennas would be up. But I just don’t feel it here (Hoover) AL.
I know you have a responsibility when it comes to forecasting, but when you walk outside, considering your decades of experience, do you ever disagree with the models and NWS hatched outlook for days like tomorrow?

Thank you. If there is a discussion on this elsewhere, I’d love for anyone else who wants to join in this discussion.

Thank you-Just someone who loves weather and has a love-hate relationship with tornadoes.
