This is a great amp but needs a little boosting. Thanks for sharing the equipment you used.

I use a Bugera PS1 Power Sisk Attenuator to get the best OD from the stock amp. An OD up front will help, a delay in the fx loop better yet. You have the OxBox, may need one of those one day.

Attenuator is a MUST to get the good power tube distortion.

This is somewhat similar to a 50 watt Marshall bass head but lacks the extended freq. I have a 2 channel, Marshall 50 watt bass head clone with four inputs. These amps are unbelievably versatile w an effects loop. Jumper the two channels together and push it w a Wampler Pinnacle and it grinds just like a Plexi circuit. The magic is in your guitar volume. Marshall bass heads retain more fullness & bottom than Plexi's when you roll back your guitar volume.

Does every store get its own version or something? Everyone is quoting different figures for the power stem. I must have heard/read about 5 different versions now. Marshall says it's 50/10/5.

The Hendrix tone was really believable, yeah, really good!
Great job of demoing the tones available from the amp. That Strat really sounded clear and bright but could get straight to the classic blues tone. Loved it! The LP sounded OK but not as good as the Strat.
Marshall really put some thought into this amp, I guess I'll need to check one out.
