Thanks for reacting to Morgan James. I hope you like her. She put her whole body and soul into this one. Other covers by Morgan that are fun are "I really don't care" and "Barbie girl" although they could also be considered a showcase for Tambourine Guy. She and Haley do a duet covering "Dear Prudence". The two of them are the most underrated singers out there today, in my opinion.

For my money Morgan James is th best female singer on earth. Maps will probably be the most requested from her, but there are so many more great songs she has covered, in the PMJ style of totally flipping the script.

When she breaks it down to just her and an acoustic guitar, priceless, or better yet, how about her plus a tap dancer providing all the accompaniment on Shut Up and Dance.
but my all time favorite is Rather Be where it's her and 3 back-up singer and an acoustic guitar player sitting on a couple of couches and just having a lot of fun.

Traveling the Angelina Jordan YouTube path one day, I searched "it's a mans world", and Morgan James covering it came up as a recommendation. I was mesmerized by her cover. She has a classic, soulful, rich voice that touched me like few others. Been a fan ever since.

Morgan received a Bachelor of Music in Opera at Juilliard School of Music. After a while she decided that opera was not for her and chose this path. She has appeared in many Broadway shows released some songs. Steven Tyler must be proud. "All About That Bass" with Haley, Morgan and Ariana Savalas (Telly's daughter, KOJAK TV series) all together in a very fun complete re-make of the song is a must see. Haley and Morgan have completely different styles and, imo, the best singers today and have been for years. Too bad neither has the fame of say Cardi B or Miley. Who would you rather listen to?
