Daredevil is such an awesome character, Frank Miller is my favorite.

Frank Miller is a absolute legendary classic.
Bendis is a heir to Frank's masterpiece.
Waid/Samnee run is my personal favorite, cause it's perfect cooperation between writer and artist which gave us a piece of comics art.

I would add the "Reborn" mini series by Andy Diggle as an underrated story. I'm not a fan of Shadowland, but that story is fun.

Funnily enough I think Bendis did a much worse job than Miller and I'm much more of a modern reader.
