Putin warns West creating no-fly zone would be act of war

President Vladimir Putin has issued a stark warning to the West that any declaration of a no-fly zone over Ukraine would be taken as “participation in the armed conflict” by the Kremlin.

Moscow would consider “any move in this direction” as an intervention that “will pose a threat to our service members”, he said during a meeting with female pilots on Saturday.
