You can tell he's a real woodworker not because of the quality of the work but because he can't stop identifying all of his faults and problems with the result.

Really nice toolchest, but your purple heart project is brilliant. God bless you!

So beautiful! So much thought and design were put into it! As always thanks for sharing your insights and knowledge so we could learn and become better woodworkers

Such a labor of love. Watching every episode of this build, on the membership class was amazing. Such precision and attention to detail, and most calculations were done on the fly! The episodes of modifying the locking systems alone had me locked to the screen. The custom IBC chisel handles that you turned, are beautiful! Combining this incredible cabinet with your awesome tool selection will be a treasure for someone, someday. And our combat wounded Veterans will be the recipients of your sacrifice. Your light does shine before men, Rob Cosman. Now get over yourself about the slight color differences!

To say that that is a beautiful piece, filled with an amazing set of tools is such an understatement - truly wish I had the funds to bid for it. Side note, thanks for showing it again, has lit the spark again, to build my own tool chest, very much needed, lumber is already purchased and sitting waiting for me.

Amazing work Rob by you and your colleagues. I am happy to hear this was a year project. Sometimes I get dissapointed in myself because my projects take so long to complete were I am strictly using only hand tools. However, the fact this project took you the time it did reminds me even for the experts the art is a slow tedious process.

Great piece. I have really enjoyed watching it come together over the last year. I'm sure whomever ends up with it will treasure it.

Beautifully done! It always seems like half the battle is finding the correct hardware. Well, it is for me, haha.

That's significantly smaller than I imagined it to be.
Fantastic how you managed to fit so much into such a compact cabinet.

One these days, it's on my to do list! To have about all you need to make ANYTHING by hand, without power like in the bush... and it would really would help with consolidation in my shop plus free up more room. Tks for all you do for us vets! Handtools being quiet, dust free and truly giving you a sense of accomplishment like nothing else! Not to mention I've always felt like I was born in wrong era and the connection to the past using handtools in indubitably the strongest. To make furniture without nails or screws is one of my most proud skills and in huge part to you hippy Bob. My ptsd from getting blown up in Iraq as a combat engineer is nothing compared to how it used to be after becoming a handtool woodworker!!! Tks again my master teacher. I only wish I could come to your class but we've talked about my restraints before. I only wish I could help more than telling anyone and every vet about you... if you could think is a way call me. You called before when I bought my first saw off you so my# I would guess is in your system. Lemme know plz n I'll do what can for you and the PHP!

With the amount of work and detailing. A lot of people would not get an end result. Another task would take priority. FABULOUS to see this finished. I believe in time the colour of the woods will soften and will look even more amazing. Heirloom quality.❤❤❤❤❤❤ PHP
