How to superscript in Word / How type an exponent (with shortcuts) in 1 MINUTE (HD 2020)

You are asking yourself how to superscript in Word? In this tutorial I am going to show you how to type and exponent in Word in 2 different ways and of course you are also going to learn the shortcuts.

Procedure:
To superscript in Word you can simply click the superscript button in the "Home" tab and the superscript will start. When you are done, simply click the superscript button again.
Another way for doing a superscript in Word is by inserting an equation into the document. For that go to the "Insert" tab and click on "Equation". After that you need to insert the correct script and then you can type in the basis and the exponent.

Why all that?
Often it is needed to insert mathematical formulas in Word or insert some information as an "exponent". To do that there are two possibilities. Note that you should not use superscript for doing footnotes. If you want to insert footnotes, there is an automated way in Word. Of course, you will find a video for that on my channel.

This tutorial for #superscript in #Word should work for Word 2007, Word 2010, Word 2013, Word 2016, Word 2019 and also Office 365. This also works with Microsoft Office on a Mac and also with open source software such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
