Not gonna lie, when I first watched the episode and saw them having lunch, I was gaping at the screen the whole time. I never expected them to meet so early. Fantastic

"Evil" Morty is honestly so fucking well executed. Not gonna lie, first time we met him, when he silently went off the screen to edgy music? Didn't like that, or expect much. But the fucker is so calm, collected and polite. I love it! And I love how he just did his own shit, filled his own damn desires with hard work and set-ups. Our iconic duo? Merely inconvenience. No personal drama(so far), just Morty smart enoff to realize how fuckedup everything is, and wanting nothing with it. The latest finale's... finale? Splendid.

in case people are misunderstanding the concept of the central finite curve. it’s essentially an infinite and finite multiverse where rick is the smartest man in the universe. rick collected every universe where he’s the smartest and grouped them together into the CFC. leaving that finite curve means that you’re entering a universe where people SMARTER THAN RICK exist.

I love everything about evil morty. His motivations are understandable, he is callous enough to be an imposing villain, he outsmarts Ricks, and most importantly: he won. Since his goal wasn’t just to defeat the main character, he could win without destroying the paradigm of the series. I hope we see more of him, but not in an antagonistic role. More like a one/two episode special where we see what the multiverse outside of the finite curve is like, and see Evil Morty on his own in the multiverse. See if he is happy now that he achived his goal, what he is up to, if he decided to start a family, settle down, become a nomad, fight for some cause, become a depressed and lonely drunkard, etc.

i’m really excited to see what the finale brings for future seasons! i’m hoping the portal gun (at least for the time being) being rendered useless and the destruction of the central finite curve will let rick take more accountability for his actions and hopefully give us some character development but also ik the show likes to troll the audience into thinking he’s developing into a better person and then being like “nope lol”
