Oh shit I'm crying but the general idea of the vídeo and the aesthetic it's just amazing and I feel that the song represents how angry we feel when our pets are dying and we can't do anything to save them

Something I've always adored about this song is I've never come across a vocalist singing about an animal using the word "you". It's always my dog this, my cat that but this song is personal, relatable. Not a pet, but a friend.

Before I lost my dog, I used to listen to this song and hug her and cry worried about the day Id lose her. So now that I lost her I play this song and sing it and cry and think about her and our memories. And I’ll tell you what it helps crying helps. This song is the best song I’ve ever heard about pet loss.

This has been one of my favourite songs since 2016. I used to listen and worry about the future of my cat, little did i know he would get 7 more years. He passed yesterday (writing this January 12th 2022) and listening to this song is really comforting. RIP Munch, thank you for being there for me day since day one of my life, i will never, ever, forget you.

I am a freshman in college sitting in my dorm near tears because I just miss my dog so much and love this band so much and God, what a Thursday.

When my bass player first showed me this song a few years back, I cried thinking about my dog Buddy.

Last year, I left him at my mom’s for a week because I was pulling double shifts at my job. I put this song on after a shift and left at 2 in the morning to drive a half hour away to pick him up. I’ve never held him so hard before.

It’s been three days since Buddy has passed and it’s very much taken an huge emotional toll on me. He got me through the hard times and best times. I don’t know what I’ll do without him.

I love this song even if it’s hard to think about my Buddy boy. Like Buddy, all our pets will live on in our hearts and memories.

I discovered PUP when they released DVP, so I started following them pretty closely after that. My 12-year old golden retriever I had since I was a kid died in his sleep shortly before this video came out and this song still absolutely ruins me to this day. The first time I saw them I crowdsurfed to the front and Stefan pointed the mic at me for the chanting part. This song will always have a special place in my heart.
