The Yankees and Royals squared off in a very confusing fight last night in the ALDS Game 4 after Maikel Garcia took exception to a tag. Jazz Chisholm and Royal fans have been beefing online all series.

New York would beat Kansas City and move on to the ALCS this weekend.

MLB Brawls= Two teams yelling “hold me back bro.”

The fight was all on Jazz. He wouldn't stop talking. Jazz was sticking up for Volpe.

There was no fight. This was nothing. You want to see a Yankee-Royals fight, look for the one between Nettles and Brett.

I hate when they call it a fight when it was never close to a fight

There are actual benches clearing fights but this was far from that

I have no idea why the relieve pitchers run in. They should fight in the ball pen.

man do we have differing definitions of what a fight is...

Ain't no brawl without punches being thrown. This is just pettiness.

Garcia slapped Volpe’s hand down, I think Volpe saw it coming and put his forearm up to protect himself from Garcia’s slide and to make sure Garcia couldn’t knock the ball out because thats clearly what Garcia was trying and failed to do.

This was an absolutely wretched series to watch as a Royals fan. The Yankees fans, and players arent exactly my favorite people in the world, but this series (besides the bad call with Chisholm) was almost completely up to poor management, and bad play by the Royals.

We walked like what, almost 30 batters over the course of 4 games? We used our entire bullpen every game besides Brady Singer, one of our best starters, who we took out to have a lefty face frickin Stanton. The middle of our order was pathetic, our two best hitters hit under .140, and our manager kept things the same every game. We had Hunter Renfroe and Freddy Fermin just sit on the bench the whole post-season.

The Royals reverted back to a AAA team, maybe worse, and it's inexcusable. If you can't hit a ball thrown right down the middle, I don't know how you expect to play in the majors.

Garcia was just pissed that Volpe tagged him out! Don't mess with my Volpe! I do like Bobby Witt Jr...loved how Stanton went over to him after the game!

This whole 2 thumbnail 2 caption thing is bullshit because I clicked on “brawl” and was confused because no punches thrown but now it just says benches cleared… now even YouTube is fucking with our brains.

It’s always funny when these supposed enraged baseball players act like they have to be restrained. Baseballers are the most inept fighters in sports, just behind figure skaters 😂

No…what is real weird is that strange freak that bats second for the Yankees, Sosa is a weird dude there! Good or not, he’s annoying as hell.

Was it my imagination or were the Royals fans chanting Yankees suck after the game? That's classless.

This analysis is just wrong.
The slide was late because Garcia was just getting out of the way of what he anticipated was a return throw to 1st base because he was unaware that the force play had been removed. The slide was to the outfield side of the base, and Garcia took exception to being tagged at all not to mention the inadvertent forearm to the throat.
Volpe seemed like he explained why he lunged at Garcia; perhaps even apologized, and everything was fine, ,
until little crooked hat gangsta' boy had to start running his mouth again.
He's made himself a villain in KC, and will be boisterously booed, and razzed every time he dares step foot within 250 miles of "The K."

Love Jazz, Gerrit, and Alex for this. Them boys are DAWGS and they'll fight for their team.

MLB needs to stop these stupid bench clearing brawls. If the NHL can do it, so can they. Grow up and act like adults.
