Sew along with me and make a FRIENDLY SAMPLER quilt! Today's block is called "simple flower basket".
Each block measures 12 1/2" x 12 1/2"
Each block requires:
cut (1) 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" square - Red print
cut (1) 4" x 4" square red print (1) 4" x 4" Background - blue
cut (1) 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" square - Background - blue
cut (2) 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangles - background - blue
Cut (1) 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" square - background - blue
Cut (3) 4" x 4" squares - variety of colors (3) 4" x 4" squares - background - blue

Hi, Beth! One of your Australian fans here. I have made a quilt from your "Merry May" quilt blocks from 2 years ago. It was a beast to put together, all blocks being on the diagonal, but it is now finished and looks lovely. I called it "Purple Pleasure" as all the coloured blocks are shades of purple.
