Can yo kindly help us to know how can we hook in the user scripts in the VM template which can ask user inputs and also execute some scripts at the time of ovf template startup.

I was handed a single vmdk and asked to build a vm from it. Never done it this way but is it as simple as creating a new vm and using it as existing disk with the OS

poor example with a 0 byte vmdk file. this never worked for me in esxi 6.0

Why would you NOT show how to import the vmdk to the datastore.. ! ! ?? ??
