[SOLVED] - ILLUSTRATOR - Not enough memory to open illustration - How to fix your file

When trying to open an Adobe Illustrator .AI file, an error message can appear that says, "Not enough memory to open the illustration". Don't worry...your file is OK-it is not corrupted....we need to open Illustrator before we open the file. In the video above, there are some additional tricks to try, one of which is resetting your Preferences.

I thought holding the keys would work, but it didn't. After the error message popped up and I pushed the "OK" button and then went to open the file again; without restarting Illustrator. This is what ended up working.

Thank you very much, it worked for me with resizing illustrator window.
In my case, file was of 875 MB, Cleared Cache, Temp Folder, but didn't worked,  
It worked on resize only

It didn't work. My error message says something a bit different: "The operation cannot complete because there isn't enough memory (RAM) available." Can you help?
