Sadly from what I remember the person who bought the right for the book died long time ago after getting poisoned by his workers and from what I remember his name is still put in the credit

He just wanted to created a series that could be as successful as star wars and have multiple sequels, spinoff, series like star wars but sadly he wouldn't be around to see it
