Okay, I love so much that you threw math into this because I know how passionate you are about maths. I will honestly say that I was lost a few times and had to rewind but I LOVED IT!

Wow that explanation at the end was so good! I read Alice a while ago and I really didn’t like it because I didn’t understand what was happening the whole time, but the thing with her still thinking correctly but just differently is super interesting! And that’s such a good message even if it is hidden in the math. It makes me want to reread it and do some research about what everything means because I want to love this book since so many people do. And I’ve also always loved math so I just really liked that 😅

You are the single greatest thing on the internet. 😂😂😂 I love how thorough and imaginative your reviews are. 🦄 Also, praise the maths!! As an old school math nerd, I appreciate you writing it out. That was so cool!! Did you choose 42 for your example based on it being the answer to the meaning of life?

Great video, just wanted to add that the reason Alice says 'I shall never get to twenty at this rate!' is because the pattern you showed of the base increasing by 3 each time works all the way up to 4x12=19 in base 39, but then breaks down at 20! (as 4x13 is not 20 in base 42). Another simpler explanation of why she says this is that multiplication tables usually stop at 12, so she would stop before she got to 4x13=20.

I had no idea what Lewis Caroll's actual name was, so I had to do some research when I heard you refer to him as Charles Dodgson. One definitely learns something new every day.

What a great book review! I loved the maths part, so interesting! I have had knowledge of different base systems at school and university, it's so cool that it's in the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland :). I loved the puns/wordplay too that you mentioned :).

I love the dress! This is one of my favorite books! <3 Also, you are the first one to do the math and it was fabulous! Our girl Alice knows her stuff! Seems like she knows how to get the answer, just not what it is.

loved this review! Alice in Wonderland is my all time favourite book and although I already knew most of the background information, I never really understood the math... thanks for the explanation! :)

You look so adorable with that bow in your hair! Alice in Wonderland is actually one of the few classics I would like to read. That part about the numbers.... I was like yeah...but no! Math has been never been my thing but it's cool to see other people enjoying it :)
