"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" is an 1865 novel written by Lewis Carroll, whose real name was Charles Dodgson. It tells of a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar anthropomorphic creatures. The tale plays with logic, giving the story lasting popularity with adults as well as with children. It is considered to be one of the best examples o the literary nonsense genre. Its narrative course and structure, characters and imagery have been enormously influential in both popular culture and literature, especially in the fantasy genre.

The Illustrations shown in the video were painted by Greg Hildebrandt.

BTW, the answer to the riddle, the Hatter ask’s, why is a raven like a writing desk? Answer- because Poe ( Edger Allen Poe) wrote on both.

Thank you, thank you, for this narration. This is the best reading we have had the pleasure of enjoying.
Lewis Carroll is smiling, I am sure, "up the rabbit hole" (heaven that is), seeing this fine production. Cheers and again, thank you.

Wonderful story. Surprisingly one of the few books that was translated to the screen appropriately (the original animation, not the Johnny Depp film lol)

"Maybe it is pepper that always makes people hot-tempered?" And from that moment forward, not an atom of pepper, nor any other form of seasoning, was to be found in any English kitchen ever again.

Anyone want to know the answer to the mad hatters riddle, why is a raven like a writing desk
Answer- because Poe wrote on both! I was rapt when I learnt that, just shows you what a boring life I lead!
