I saw this amazing ballet on Saturday! Viola Pantuso was fabulous as Alice, very lyrical, playful, with exquisite arms and lovely spins and turns...So expressive! She really was the essence of Alice!!
Wonderful special effects, dreamy, dramatic, kooky, spooky, and funny!
Great cast, featuring a great, cranky, melodramatic Red Queen, and a superb Mad Hatter!!!
As an ex-Oriental/Egyptian dancer, I enjoyed the little nod to Arabic dance with a very sensual male dancer and troupe in gorgeous outfits!!!
Even tho I was high up in the Gods it was an outstanding performance! Oh, and the pas de deuxs by Viola Pantuso and Marchilino Sambe were sublime .
